Lisa Redfern is a singer-songwriter who grew up in Maine and relocated to Northern California in 1996. Lisa's father, Bob, was a folksinger, multi-instrumentalist, and builder of dulcimers and guitars who had his own beginnings at the hootenannies sponsored by the Seeger Family in the late 50’s. Lisa's mother, Sandy, knew the lion’s share of songs from musicals and all the children’s songs you’d ever want to know. Bob taught Lisa a few chords when she was 16 and from there she was on her own to pick up what she could.

New CD Release: In November 2005, Lisa released her 7th recording titled "All is Bright" an acoustic Christmas CD with 14 sacred songs that reflect the humanity, joy, and hope of the first Christmas. Also highlights the talents of two Sonoma County musicians, Craig Anderson and Kevin Russell. Please see the CDs/Ordering section.

October 2002, Lisa released her 6th recording titled "Soundtracks" with 10 new originals and 2 covers. Also highlights the talents of several local musicians and is available for purchase. Please see the CDs/Ordering section.

Her 1996 lullaby recording "Hushabye, Lullabye" has sold over 30,000 copies in the last few years. Her self-produced recordings "In The Asking" 1994 and "No Small Thing" 1998 received shining reviews and steady radio play. Lisa has made several TV appearances to promote her recordings, as well as performed with Pete Seeger and opened for other notables, most memorably The Roches.
